Lived in Musselburgh for decades but never been before. Feel silly now! Abdolutely lovely. Food great, well presented and friendly staff. Made 1 slight mistake asked for 3 chilli starter as 'they' are usually hesitant to really make hot sauces. Not the gurkha, it was hot but not unbearable....just be warned there is a difference in options! Will be back!

Delicious food

We had an amazing meal tonight, our first visit and we’ll definitely be back. So tasty, great portion sizes and plenty choice on the menu. Lovely surprise was the sample of rice pudding for Father’s Day - delicious! Lovely staff, a great find for sit in or takeaway

Visited the restaurant last night, we received a great welcome, the staff were attentive and always smiling. The food was outstanding as usual, this is our favourite restaurant and whether we sit in or get a takeaway the food is always fabulous, highly recommend this restaurant.

Just had a great meal with the family (6 of us). Faultless service, delicious food and the table settings were very good. Crackers and a bottle of wine on the table.

Gurkha Musselburgh is by far my favourite place to eat! Even we moved we still drive 3 hours for a meal the food is that good! excellent service with a smile 😀 good value for money, most amazing food, what's not to like

Just been for yet another delicious meal at the Gurkha, food amazing and service second to none, staff very attentive and food as usual perfect definitely recommend visiting this restaurant you won’t be disappointed

My family went for a meal this evening at the Gurkha and have to say we’re massively impressed.

I had chicken pathia my partner had saag aloo with paneer cheese and we shared some sides naan breads rice etc.

The portions were very good and the quality was amazing.

The staff were attentive and friendly and the lady Roch was so kind to my little daughter Lara.

Keep up the great work we l look forward to returning in a few weeks time

Was there last night and the food was amazing. I'm not a lamb fan but my husband had the lamb sagg and it was really lovely. So tender. We only had one rice and one nann and that was enough for both of us to share. We asked the lady if we should have 2 rices and she was very honest. Definitely recommend and will be back ????
